Getting to Lava Creek Lodge
Step 1: Fly to Anchorage, Alaska
Plan to arrive in Anchorage the day before your trip begins. You’ll spend one night in Anchorage before catching a morning flight to King Salmon.
Step 2: Morning Flight to King Salmon
Take the morning Alaska Airlines flight from Anchorage to King Salmon (AKN). This flight typically departs early, so check Alaska Airlines’ schedule and book in advance.

Step 4: Floatplane to Lava Creek Lodge
Enjoy a scenic 1-hour flight to the lodge. Most guests arrive at Lava Creek before lunch and can settle in and relax before the next day’s fishing adventure.
